Easy Homemade Hand Sanitizer Recipes ›

I’ve had some people messaging me lately wanting to know about vegan hand sanitizer options. Pretty much all sanitizers you can buy at the store are vegan in terms of not containing animal-derived ingredients, but some have either been tested on animals or contain ingredients that have been.

These recipes literally take 5 minutes to make and are 100% vegan friendly. They also contain hydrating ingredients that will keep your skin soft.

Blogger Friends!

For followers of my personal blog, you have probably noticed it no longer exists. I deleted it on a lark last week and have actually felt really good about letting it go. So much negativity was contained in the 3,000+ posts I logged over the course of a year and I simply felt it would be best to move on and start over completely fresh.

However, I have a new blog over on Blogger dedicated to my travels, adventures and preparations as I get ready to spend a year living in a Winnebago while traveling across the United States with my chihuahua. I would appreciate it if you all would check it out!

Also, within the next few weeks, it is highly likely I will be moving the Vain Vegan over to the Blogger platform. I love Tumblr, but I feel like Blogger is much better suited for the type of blogging I really want to do and I feel like it has far more customization options. Tumblr has been great, but the reblog option and focus on photos rather than text has turned me into a lazy blogger indeed. It’s nothing for sure, but it is an idea I am entertaining.

Hope everyone is having a marvelous Friday. I’m off to put on my face and get ready to see the Cave Singers tonight!

I was using Hourglass for a spell as my primary foundation and it’s really good stuff but very pricey so I thought I’d give something else a whirl so I could save some bucks and be able to review a new vegan beauty product and tell you all about it. I bought Tarte’s Amazonian Clay 12-hour Full Coverage Foundation about a month ago and it’s safe to say it gets my enthusiastic stamp of approval. My sensitive skin likes it. It has a mousse like texture going on, it doesn’t feel too heavy but gives good coverage with a setting powder. It also has 15 SPF (not enough to substitute for a sunscreen, I recommend a mineral SPF powder like bareMinerals SPF 25 Mineral Veil). And it lasts!

Glad you’re back and still fierce as fuuuu, grrrl.

Thank you so much! I’m going to attempt to get back into full swing with updating daily.
